Of course, an association cannot exist without its board! That's why the SBBN can't do without these fantastic people. The board of the Student Big Band Nijmegen consists of four enthusiastic band members. Together they are committed to keep the big band running. The composition of the current (12th) board is as follows:

Chair - Simone Disselhorst (Trumpet)
The chairman keeps an overview of everything that happens in the association. Furthermore, the chair is the face of the association. He or she also maintains contact with the conductor and soloists.

Secretary - Paul Dekker (Guitar)
The secretary handles all communications within and around the association. Furthermore, he or she assists the chair in his or her duties. In addition, he or she keeps the membership file up-to-date.

Treasurer - David den Boon (Saxophone)
The treasurer deals with the finances of the association. He or she draws up the budget and manages the membership fees, subsidies and declarations. Furthermore, he or she deals with the contact with friends of the bigband and donors.

Commissioner of Performances - Paul Dekker (Guitar)
The commissioner of performances maintains contact with outside parties regarding upcoming performances. In addition, he or she is responsible for the smooth running of events.

We are happy to grant these legends a place of honor on the stage. From the beginning they have built up the association. With success! Without them, there would be no SBBN!
